Is it a Model?           Is it a Toy?

It’s a History Centre EXCLUSIVE!!!

A couple years ago we came across a great model/toy of the B-377 Boeing Stratocruiser. We managed to get a dozen or so of them and they were quickly sold out at our Gift Shop. When we tried to re-order we were informed that they were no longer being made. Last spring we negotiated a special order with the factory to bring the model/toy out of retirement and provide the new production exclusively for the History Centre. The model/toy has about a twelve-inch wing span and a pretty authentic logo and color scheme that decked out the NWA “Queen of the Airways” back in the 1950s. These have retractable landing gear and as well a pull string arrangement in the base that spins the props. It really makes a great display model.

We are offering the model/toy at our Gift Shop for $17.00 ($15.30 for members) which includes sales taxes. We will ship the model anywhere within the U.S. for a total of $20.00 ($18.00 for members),

All taxes, shipping and handling included.

WHEELS

Capt. “Moon” Mullen and His New-Fangled Suitcase

Is there anyone out there who doesn’t own a suitcase with wheels on it? Not so many years ago there was no such thing.

As you sprint through airports these days with your roller bag heeling breathlessly behind you, you can thank the ingenuity of some Northwest Airlines pilots who have been credited, even in the mass media, with inventing the concept.
